If you knew you were going to die tomorrow…

If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, what would matter to you today?

Yesterday is gone forever and tomorrow is never guaranteed, but the present is here now. Today’s possibilities are endless. Today you decide how you will live your life. “We can’t control the wind but we can adjust the sails.” Whether you believe in God or not, every day and every breath we take is a gift. We are all a part of the universe and on this ride of life together. I just want to encourage you all to live, to seek more from life than carnal desires, and most of all to love! We must love each other! Love is what counts. Love is what matters.

Jesus said: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

“We cannot control the length of our lives but we can control the depth.”

Live, love, thrive!

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: ‘For your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.’ Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:35-39)

Search your heart. Be honest with yourself and you will find the love of God. It is unmistakable. We are not a mistake. We are His and He loves us.

He loves you!

I love the line, “We cannot control the length of our life but we can control the depth.” So true! We really need to live each day intentionally: intentionally seeking God, intentionally building relationships, and intentionally helping others.

    Good post!
