He Came for You!

“When someone loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but really loves you, then you become real.”  -old Skin Horse from the Velveteen Rabbit

This is a good parallel to the love of Christ. Jesus loves us all from before we were born and while we were still in our mother’s womb. Sinner or saint, young or old, any race, alcoholics, drug addicts, homosexual or straight, those who have had abortions, committed adultery, the dishonest, the thief and the abused. He has come for ALL people and loves us all unconditionally. It is when we come to the realization of this love Christ has for us and put our faith in Him that we can truly become real!

Jesus said: “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” (Luke 5:32 NKJV)

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28 NKJV)

He said he came for ALL and he meant it. Replace “all you who labor and are heavy laden” with your name and repeat that verse 3 times. Let the Holy Spirit of God speak to you!

Come to me ______, and I will give you rest.

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:14-21 NKJV)
