My name is Justin Powell. I’m a disciple of Jesus. I’m a husband. I’m a dreamer. I’m living life one day at a time and loving it!

I have created this blog as a way that I can share with others the love that God—through Christ—has shared with me, and hopefully in the process strengthen the faith of both of us.

I am not intimidated by the big unanswered questions of life or the things which I do not understand. I am intimidated by anyone who claims to have all the answers. I believe in honesty and when I was finally honest with myself I found God.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. -Ephesians 3:20-21

Thanks for reading!

Truely you message was a great story of true strength! Thank you for your humble but encouraging words> You are a true example for how young men. In these days of boasting and egos, .your words for boys and young to be humble and prideing themselves in knowing their own weaknesses should make such greater generations to come! Being a mom of 2 boys, I can’t wait for the future! lol In HIS name, thankyou!

Thank you for visiting my site. If you had not I might not have known about yours and that would have been unfortunate as it is outstanding. Awesome job.

I know this sounds like advertizing but I must say it anyway. You can do as you see fit with it. That being said, here it is, and I would like you, most of all to connect with. Of all the bloggers I’ve been reading [only a month now] you are the closest one I’ve found who’s like me.

I re-wrote the blurb page about who I am and I’d really like you to read it. It’s called “Who Am I?” and it tells more about who I am and a quick synopsis of my life. Like you, I am also a full-bore God seeking Christian. … and I have seen Jesus, as fully in the flesh as one can get – one world to another. There are 2 “Pages” on top that tell the story of how I “met” Him in 1982. Also there is a page about feeding finches that really deepened my faith.

I read your testimony. You experienced a life outside of Christ, then a life inside Him. I did this too. I think that may be why I connect so much with you.You really experienced God’s grace [His love] In a way – like me.

    Hi Justin,
Did you used to be a WordPress blogger, or were you always doing this without WordPress? I want to know because I thought I would look into this myself – but I don’t know how to get there from here. My blog is through WordPress – robinclaire.wordpress.com

I’m actually still 100% through wordpress.com but I have just purchased my own url. Use a site like godaddy.com to purchase a url and then it’s pretty easy to assign map the url to your wordpress blog. There’s a fee to buy the domain and to forward the url with wordpress but both can be done for about $30/year total.

Hi Justin, thank you for visiting our Blog, I would have responded sooner but I’m having Computer problems, I’m using another one tonight so I can leave a few comments. Thank you for sharing your feelings and it is true as you implied, no one in the flesh can know all God’s Truth, He inspired the Scriptures so only as we have His wisdom by the empowering of the Holy Spirit can Jesus our only Teacher lead us into all understanding and then we can know the things of God, perhaps not how to create as He did but what is important for us to know eternally, Jesus said ask and you will receive and when we have the mind of Christ we don’t have any doubts… see link below.

1 Corinthians 2:9-16 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that Love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with Spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are Spiritually discerned. But he that is Spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the Mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? but we have the Mind of Christ.

Matthew 10:26-28 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops (KJV)

Thanks so much for stopping by here as well. Your comment reminded me of 2 Cor 4:18

“while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

and I completely agree with you saying:

“Only as we have His wisdom by the empowering of the Holy Spirit can Jesus our only Teacher lead us into all understanding and then we can know the things of God”

      Great insight. thank you.
