Awareness

The Lord is making us more aware of Him.

He’s giving us eyes to see and ears to hear Him in ways we haven’t before.  It’s not that He hasn’t been there but that you haven’t been aware.

Ask the Lord to awaken you to His presence in all things.  This is pivotal for the move of God that is at hand.  I’ve asked myself if revival came, would the church recognize it?

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” -Genesis 28:16

Situations where you did not see the Lord before, you will now see.  In circumstances where you could not hear the Lord, you will now hear.  Places where you’ve sensed His presence before, you will now feel even more.

From glory to glory God is releasing His goodness in the land of the living!

Be encouraged beloved for this is an exciting time.

Above the Noise

I woke up from a nightmare and was asking the Lord about it.  I heard very clearly, “The realization with your war is that you’re winning.”

Warfare is never fun but it’s a reality.  If you are a God seeker you will face opposition.  A kingdom mindset fights from victory because we know how it all ends.

God cannot lose!

Breakthrough is on the horizon but hope is here now.  There is purpose in the fight.

For every warrior’s sandal from the noisy battle, and garments rolled in blood, will be used for burning and fuel of fire. -Isaiah 9:5

In the midst of battle turn your ear to heaven and hear truth.

Be still and know that He is God.  He will be exalted among the nations.  Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end!

This is the Year!

Last Sunday I woke up really early in the morning and the Lord began speaking to me. He said to make a declaration of Psalm 118:24 over the whole year of 2015.

This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. (‭Psalms‬ ‭118‬:‭24‬ NKJV)

I often declare this verse in the morning as I’m just getting up or leaving to go about my day. My days are not without trials but with declaring this verse it helps me keep my anchor of hope in Christ, no matter what the day may bring.

The cool thing about this verse is the use of “we.” It’s not just a declaration for myself but for my family and the whole body of Christ.

So join me in prophesying into the year ahead:

This is the year the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it!

Identity Restoration (A prophetic word for 2015)

2015 will be a great and powerful year of the LORD!  The Lord has shown me that in the year to come I am to prophesy back:

Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying “Thus far the LORD has helped us.” -1 Samuel 7:12

As many have already prophesied there will be breakthrough, there will be a mighty wind of the Spirit to increase the glory of God among the living, there will be restoration, there will be dancing and great joy and there will be prophetic fulfillment of God placed dreams in the desire of your heart.  These will all come to fruition as we embrace our identity in the year ahead as sons and daughters and receive our inheritance that has already been given at the most important, pivotal point of time in history.

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. –John 19:30

I break off the lies that have been placed to hinder you from your true identity.  We look back at what was done so we can see who we are, whose we are and what we have.

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. –Romans 8:15-16

As we seek we will find our reward.  The Lord is saying, “See I have placed before you an open door that no man can shut.”  This door is the doorway to your true identity and God given destiny.  Step in and receive all that He has for you.  This is an exciting time to be alive beloved!

“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.”
-Numbers 6:24-26

No Suspension

My friend sent me a dream where he was informed of an old trick of Satan in which he keeps us suspended from the will of God.

I felt that this was a word for the whole body this week. Many have been under attack the last couple days but you are free in Christ!

The Devil will tempt you to tempt God. Unpack your God box and don’t fall for attempts to trick you into holding God hostage.

We have everything we need in Christ! Everything!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, (‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ NKJV)

I break off any attempted assignment of the enemy to suspend your life in accomplishing the will of God in Jesus name!

Mark this Day

Today in prayer the Holy Spirit said, “Mark this day and keep moving forward, walking with God.”

There’s a lot going on in the spirit world right now. There are many being placed in places of ministry. I believe we are at the brink of a huge move of God.

There is a clear war going on where both sides, those for God and those against Him, are being strengthened. Militant Atheists and Muslims are growing in their hate to our Lord God. While at the same time disciples of Christ are growing in their faith and becoming evermore sure of the hope which is our anchor (Heb 6:19). There’s a paradigm shift going on in knowing who we are in Christ. The Lord is breaking off the orphan mindset that many of us adopted and showing us by the manifestation of His love that we are children of God.

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, (‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭16‬ NKJV)

It is a very important time and an exciting time to be alive. In the end we know who wins, because it’s already been won. But it has been prophesied:

But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. (‭Jude‬ ‭1‬:‭17-18‬ NKJV)

Do not fall for the lies of the enemy in these times. A greater glory is being released on the earth and its growing and growing. Mark this day and move forward, walking with God.

Jump

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. –Isaiah 41:10

There’s been a stirring in my spirit the past couple weeks and the word I keep getting from the Lord is “Jump!”

Yes, there are seasons of waiting but there are also seasons of entering.

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. –Hebrews 11:8

We have everything we need in Christ, through Christ and by Christ in us. God wants more of us to walk in this reality. I’ve never bungee jumped before but I could imagine the fear and adrenaline that would build up right before letting go. This is human nature to be afraid of making bold moves, to enter into what we do not yet know or fully understand, but with God all things are possible! He goes before you and says, “Don’t worry I’ll catch you.”

He will not allow you to be robbed of your hope. Jump into Him and receive all the glory of the fullness of God. Speak and proclaim to your soul as David did: “Return to your rest, O my soul, For the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.” –Psalm 116:7

“Arise, my darling,
my beautiful one, come with me.
See! The winter is past;
the rains are over and gone.
Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
is heard in our land.
The fig tree forms its early fruit;
the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling;
my beautiful one, come with me.”
-Song of Songs 2:11-13

Turn Aside

photo (4)
Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”
–Exodus 3:3

We are a generation that is plagued with busy work, information and sensory overload. I find the work weeks flying by and before you know it months have passed. My perception of time seems to be speeding up. In all this I find myself sometimes forgetting about Emanuel (God with us).

A couple years ago the Lord gave me a dream where He said to me, “Lest you forget.”
This is an important word for all of us in this age. It’s so easy to get caught up in our daily lives that I fear I’ve missed God in certain aspects and areas of my life in the past. Sometimes in hindsight I can look back and go, “Oh that’s where You were.” But still I wonder how many burning bushes I have just whizzed right by without turning aside to see the One who is more important than anything else in my life.

We are in a new season now where God is touching hearts and giving eyes to see Him in areas where we have not before. There’s been a season of silence for some but this was a teaching season. The silence has not actually been silence at all, but it has been God speaking in ways that we had yet to recognize. It’s not that He wasn’t there, it’s that we didn’t notice. There are doors opening, opportunities arising and placements being shifted. This is all to put us closer in line with heaven’s perspective and teach us to coexist with the realization of Christ in us.

As you go about this next work week and you notice a little flicker out of the corner of your eye, turn aside and look. Gaze upon the One whose eyes are like fire. The One who goes before you, is beside you and has always been with you.

Be still and know that He is God.

Jesus said…

Long Beach

On the cross Jesus said:  “Tetelestai!”

Best translated as: “It is finished.”

So why do you keep fighting a futile war that is already won?

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. –Ephesians 1:17

The Sun Has Risen!

The sun has risen again and the air is crisp. Today marks a new day, a new start and a new season. God has begun a good work in you and though He is not finished yet, you are growing (Phil 1:6). I give thanks and glory to God for this growth and I pray that your love may abound still more and more (Phil 1:9). There is a harvest coming and God needs good, loyal workers like you to water and tend the field. But let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind (Phil 2:3). And brethren do not let the wounds of the past continue to pain you today, but forget those things which are behind and reach forward to those things which are ahead. Press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus! (Phil 3:13-14)
