Increase Our Faith

“And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”” -‭‭Luke‬ ‭17:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Wow! This is a powerful verse.  The apostles who had seen countless miracles after being taught on forgiving all who sin against them asked Jesus to increase their faith.

If the Apostles needed to ask this, I need to ask this!

Faith comes from God and is a gift.  It’s not something I can “muster up” (believe me I’ve tried). No, faith comes from God.

God I ask that you raise up a faith-filled, mountain moving generation. Increase our faith Lord! Increase our faith.

Mercy Triumphs

“Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.” ‭‭-Psalms‬ ‭24:3-4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Do you ever read these kinds of verses and get reminded of your past thinking, “That’s not me, my hands aren’t clean.” The Lord reminded me that’s a lie from Satan the accuser. Jesus has made us clean and given us a pure heart! Not to mention this verse was written by David who committed adultery and murder but still became known as the man after God’s heart.

“You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.”‭‭ -John‬ ‭15:3‬ ‭NKJV‬

God’s love, mercy and grace triumphs over judgement through Christ!

A Prayer for Boldness and Signs and Wonders

“Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”‭‭Acts‬ ‭4:29-31‬ ‭NIV

Lord, stretch out your hand upon us. May we not grow weary from opposition and accusations but boldly proclaim the truth of Your love and goodness to the lost. Fill us to overflow Holy Spirit and let signs and wonders accompany our ministry to proclaim the light and glory of Jesus to the world!

We see You moving Lord. We hear Your loving kindness towards us.  We perceive You are doing a new thing.  Bring the prodigals home God.  Raise up your army of saints to go to the plow and accomplish your will on earth as it is in heaven.

His Goodness

We will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!

Open our eyes to see Lord.

Don’t Give Up

““Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.”‭‭John‬ ‭14:1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

There’s been a lot of anxiety, depression and fear lately but the Lord is calling us to return to our hope! Do not give up, you believe in God who is unstoppable.

Understand that He has not forgotten His promises.  Know that He is still good and has not given up on you.  Have faith and believe! Believe that He is who He says He is and that His word is truth.

“Return to the stronghold, You prisoners of hope. Even today I declare That I will restore double to you.”‭‭ Zechariah‬ ‭9:12‬ ‭NKJV

A Prayer of Power

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. -Psalm 32:8

God is raising up an army of warriors that pray a very dangerous prayer, dangerous to the powers of darkness that is.  This prayer is so simple but yet so powerful.  The key to revival lies in three simple words:

Thy will be done

Pray it, mean it and yield to His will.  Watch God work in you and through you.

Raise em up Lord!

Abundance of Rain

In California we’ve been experiencing a drought. Last winter we barely had any rain and even now that it’s November we have still yet to see much at all.  Through this literal drought I myself have experienced a spiritual drought.  It’s been a time of dryness, hiddness, aridity or whatever adjective you want to call it.  But what it comes down to is not a backslide, just a season where I have not been hearing from the Lord and experiencing His presence like I have in past seasons.

Lately though, the weather is starting to change.  The weather experts are predicting massive rain fall this year and God is predicting the same spiritually.  There’s a stirring in my spirit that says an abundance of rain is coming! That is literal and spiritual rain. We’ve only had some light storms so far but God is speaking again and I expect this to build and build through the coming months.  So be of good cheer! There is a reason for every season… as cheesy as it sounds it’s true. God has not left you nor I. He’s been teaching us faith. Many great times of fullness of joy in His presence are on the forecast.

“Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.”” -‭‭I Kings‬ ‭18:41‬ ‭NKJV‬

Rest While You Wait

There are many seasons in walking with God where we are called to wait on Him.  His timeline often looks much different than ours.  If you’re in a season of waiting take advantage of this time and rest in Him.  Don’t fret.  Rest and wait patiently. He will carry out the good work He has begun in you to completion.

Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him… -Psalm 37:7

We Change, He Remains the Same..

Because we change we often get a false theology that God changes.  We believe He changes His feelings toward us as we do toward Him.   We think one day we are close to God and another day we are far from Him.   We think one day He is mad and another day He is happy.  It’s just not true.  These thoughts are based on our own feelings which change daily as we go through an ever changing life. It is us who change, not Him.  He is the One constant we can always count on.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. -Hebrews 13:8

Lord grant me that no matter what my mood or feelings of the day may be, that I could be anchored in the truth of who You are.

God is Love and no feeling, thought, anxiety or depression can change that.

Have Faith

“Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”” ‭Matthew‬ ‭9:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Faith activates the miraculous. The paralytic was healed because of his friends faith.  They had the faith that Jesus could heal him and brought him to Jesus.

“…then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” And he arose and departed to his house. Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.”  Matthew‬ ‭9:6-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What if they had chosen the doubting route that day and stayed home?

Have faith that God’s will may be done in and through your life.
